The Stardust Tower Orb is a Hardmode, post-Lunatic Cultist orb crafted using Stardust Fragments. When used, it summons a miniature copy of the Stardust Pillar that floats above the player, doing no damage itself but periodically summoning worms resembling Milkyway Weavers to attack enemies. While the worms do not take up minion slots themselves, their length and how many of them can be summoned at once is governed by the player's minion slot count. Like all orbs, the channeled minion and its summoned worms will only exist for as long as the Use / Attack key is held, disappearing immediately when it is released.

Its best modifier is Demonic. Damage is the only statistic worth improving, since speed only affects the initial summon rather than the channeled minion, added with the minion's inability to deal critical hits. Also, it cannot receive knockback affecting modifiers.

Trivia

  • It is one of four weapons added by the Polarities Mod crafted using Lunar Fragments, alongside the Nemesis, Celestial Storm, and Nebula Ray. Of these, only the Nebula Ray does not correspond to a Polarities-exclusive weapon subclass, as magic weapons do not generally have subtypes in a way that affects gameplay, but it was added to complete the "set" of one new lunar weapon for each class.
