The Unfolding Blossom is a flawless Hardmode melee weapon that is dropped by Plantera when defeated without taking any damage from her. When used, it creates an omnidirectional fan of pink petals around the player that gradually grow over time, rapidly hitting any enemies they come into contact with and dealing more damage as they grow larger. Once the ⚒ Use / Attack button is released, all of them will detach at once and fall downwards with a very long maximum range, swaying back and forth with semi-realistic physics and passing through terrain freely. Petals will also begin to fall once they grow large enough regardless of whether the player is still using the item, effectively providing a maximum size to the expanding aura.

Its best modifier is Godly or Demonic. Both increase the average damage output equally.
