The Rattlestaff is a craftable Pre-Hardmode magic weapon. On use, it shoots five rattle segment projectiles that travel in a straight line at varying speeds, breaking on impact with an enemy or terrain or after enough time has passed. Each segment deals the weapon's listed 15 damage, resulting in an average of 75 damage if all five hit a single target.

Its best modifier is Demonic or Deadly for overall damage output, or Mystic for mana conservation since it cannot receive modifiers affecting knockback. Note that the listed modifiers increase damage equally due to rounding.
