The Laser Cutter is a Hardmode melee weapon that drops from the Sun Pixie. When swung, it creates a laser beam with infinite range that pierces through terrain, hitting all enemies in its path. Unlike typical swords, it is swung in a more aimable manner that covers a cone-shaped range in the direction of the player's cursor. Hitting multiple enemies in a single swing will reduce damage for each, similarly to whips.

Its best modifier is Godly or Demonic. Both increase the average damage output equally.
