The Consumption Cannon is a flawless Pre-Hardmode magic weapon that that is dropped by the Eater of Worlds when defeated without taking any damage from it. Functioning similarly to the Worm Spewer, it shoots worms with more segments the longer the ⚒ Use / Attack button is held for that home in on enemies and disappear on hit. However, the Consumption Cannon's worms are affected by gravity and cannot home in when not inside a block, functioning similarly to standard worm enemies. If there are no enemies in range, the worms will tunnel endlessly through blocks in a straight line in their current direction.

Its best modifier is Godly or Demonic, which both increase the average damage output equally. It cannot receive modifiers affecting mana cost or speed due to how low their values are.
