The Boreal Wood Atlatl is a craftable Pre-Hardmode atlatl. An alternative to the basic Wooden Atlatl with very slightly increased stats, it is a viable option for an early-game atlatl for beginner characters.

Its best modifier is Legendary or Unreal. The main difference is that legendary increases the size of the atlatl, which has a linear effect on the projectile velocity, while unreal increases the velocity itself. Despite a slight difference between size and velocity, both modifiers should retain a similarly effective DPS.
