The Flailing Kraken is a craftable Hardmode magic weapon. When used, it shoots out two tentacles similar to those of the Kraken enemy, which charge around erratically centered on the cursor for hit any enemies they cross paths with for as long as the button is held, as it does not use mana beyond the initial activation.

Its best modifier is Mythical, Godly, or Demonic. Since mana cost and speed only affect the initial use, they aren't necessary but don't hinder performance.
