The Ray of Sunshine is a flawless Hardmode magic weapon that that is dropped by the Sun Pixie when defeated without taking any damage from it. It summons a large beam of light at the cursor's position that pierces through blocks and stretches infinitely in both directions, dealing constant damage while inflicting On Fire! to anything in its path. If held, it will follow the cursor, but has a maximum movement speed and as such takes some time to catch up with faster movements. It will use mana constantly while held, but a single use will still deal about five hits (with perfect tracking or on an immobile target) while only taking up the base 10 mana.

Its best modifier is Mythical.
