The Wooden Atlatl is a craftable Pre-Hardmode atlatl. It is the most basic atlatl, easily obtainable and simple to use, serving to introduce the concept of atlatls.

Its best modifier is Legendary or Unreal. The main difference is that legendary increases the size of the atlatl, which has a linear effect on the projectile velocity, while unreal increases the velocity itself. Despite a slight difference between size and velocity, both modifiers should retain a similarly effective DPS.
