The Heat Flare is a Hardmode magic weapon that is dropped by Trailblazers. On use, it extends five tendrils of heat resembling the Trailblazer's tail towards the cursor, which pierce freely through both enemies and terrain, with physics effects that make them wave realistically as they are aimed.
Its best modifier is Masterful or Godly; as it has no use time, it cannot benefit from modifiers that increase weapon speed.
