The Chain Lacerator is a craftable Hardmode melee weapon, created by combining the Chain Guillotines and Fetid Baghnakhs using Evil DNA. When used, it fires out two claw projectiles at once, attached to the player by a chain, which move in a curved arc that usually results in them intersecting at some point during their trajectory. Multiple sets of claws can be present at once, and they will pass through any terrain or enemies they encounter, only retracting once they reach their maximum length. As a result, it can rack up damage extremely fast and decimates crowds, but has difficulty targeting a single enemy reliably, more so the smaller they are.

Its best modifier is Godly or Demonic. Both increase the average damage output equally.
