The Preserver is a craftable Hardmode spear. On hit, it inflicts one second of Desiccating as well as briefly applying the unique Toxic Shock debuff, which briefly freezes hit enemies in place. Any enemies that are immune to knockback are not affected by it.

Its best modifier is Godly or Demonic. Both increase the average damage output equally.
