The Bone Slinger is a craftable Pre-Hardmode atlatl. When used, it launches an additional Bone Dart alongside the ammunition used at no extra cost, and has an 8% critical hit chance, double the 4% value of other atlatls.

Its best modifier is Legendary or Unreal. The main difference is that legendary increases the size of the atlatl, which has a linear effect on the projectile velocity, while unreal increases the velocity itself. Despite a slight difference between size and velocity, both modifiers should retain a similarly effective DPS.
