Trailblazers are a Hardmode enemy that appear during The Rapture. They behave similarly to worms, slowly moving toward the player while creating a long trail of light behind them that damages the player on contact. They have two attacks besides this which are usually alternated between, using one then the other:

• Stops in place and trembles while extending a ray of light toward the player, telegraphing a high-speed dash directly at them. It will perform three of these dashes in sequence, briefly pausing between each one to adjust its direction as necessary.
• Continues normal movement, but creates a wide circular flare of light that pulses out three times, each one significantly larger than the last.
