Illuminant Scourers are a Hardmode enemy that appear during The Rapture. They hover through the air, attempting to position themselves over the player; they will occasionally stop to fire an array of telegraphing beams downward briefly before launching a full, damaging laser blast that pushes it upwards lightly over its duration. The lasers are actually fired upward from the enemy's core and reflected down by the plates hovering over it, resulting in slightly different configurations of lasers as it moves.
