Summons Minion

The Molten Spirit Staff is a craftable Hardmode summon weapon. A convective upgrade of the Imp Staff, it summons a small Molten Spirit that follows the player, orbiting around them in a circular pattern and phasing through terrain freely. If multiple minions are summoned at once, they will orbit equidistantly from each other. When in range of an enemy, the molten spirits will move to begin orbiting around that enemy instead, dashing in and tackling them every few seconds to cause an area-of-effect explosion before returning to the orbit. Like other minions, the summoned molten spirit is invincible and follows the player for an unlimited amount of time, unless the player dies, exits the world, summons a replacement minion, or cancels the buff.

Its best modifier is Ruthless. While Mythical provides the widest array of stat bonuses, these primarily affect the initial summon rather than the resulting minion. Additionally, minions cannot deal critical hits. The only lasting advantage mythical has over ruthless is knockback.
