Bat Slimes are a Pre-Hardmode enemy that spawn in the caverns after the Gigabat is defeated. They normally attack by hopping towards the player like other slimes, but after jumping twice they will sprout wings and fly similarly to the Slimer, homing in on the player's position for a few seconds.
