The Orthogonal Staff is a Hardmode magic weapon found in unlocked Fractal Chests in the Fractal Dimension. On use, it shoots a fast-moving bolt of energy that pierces through enemies and disappears on impact with a tile, and automatically adjusts its trajectory as it flies so that it ends up moving in one of the four cardinal directions based on which one it was angled closest to when it was fired.

Its best modifier is Mythical.
