The Instability Scepter is a Pre-Hardmode magic weapon that is dropped by the Rift Denizen. It summons a stationary rift projectile that floats in the air where it was created for a short time, dealing rapid hits to any enemies that touch it and disappearing afterwards. More than one rift can be present at once.

Its best modifier is Mythical.
