The Fractlatl is a Hardmode atlatl found in unlocked Fractal Chests in the Fractal Dimension. When used, it shoots two additional copies of the projectile fired while only consuming one, each aimed perfectly horizontally (in the direction the player is facing) and vertically. The momentum of these additional projectiles is based on the angle the weapon is fired at, so a more horizontal trajectory will result in the vertical extra having virtually no momentum and falling to the ground and vice versa for the horizontal extra at a more vertical angle.

Its best modifier is Legendary or Unreal. The main difference is that legendary increases the size of the atlatl, which has a linear effect on the projectile velocity, while unreal increases the velocity itself. Despite a slight difference between size and velocity, both modifiers should retain a similarly effective DPS.
