The Energy Lance is a craftable Hardmode melee weapon made from materials found in the Fractal Dimension. Functioning similarly to the Épée, it launches the player in a straight-line charge unaffected by gravity for as long as the button is held down, up to a maximum duration of about a second. Hitting an enemy during this charge will cause the player to gain a lengthy period of invulnerability frames, just long enough to cover the entire deceleration period if they choose to stop right after impact, but a hit will not interrupt the charge and they can also carry on with its full length. Unlike the Épée, the charge is not purely horizontal, and can be aimed in any direction, even straight up or down.

Its best modifier is Legendary.
