The Binary Flux is a Hardmode magic weapon found in locked Fractal Chests in the Fractal Dimension. On use, it near-instantly generates a line of energy vortices that reaches until it hits a solid tile, alternating between groups of one and two with a space of one or two vortex-lengths between them, remaining in place and constantly damaging any enemies touching it for about two seconds before disappearing.

Its best modifier is Demonic or Deadly for overall damage output, or Mystic for mana conservation since it cannot receive modifiers affecting knockback.
