The Bifurcator is a craftable Hardmode magic weapon made from materials found in the Fractal Dimension. If fires a long-ranged bolt of lightning in a straight line towards the cursor, which cannot penetrate tiles or enemies; however, upon impact with either, it will generate additional bolts of lightning that home in on any other enemies within range with reduced damage, creating a chain effect. Each enemy can only be targeted once per attack.

Its best modifier is Mythical.
