The Pythagorean Hammer is a Hardmode warhammer. Like all warhammers, it inflicts the Hammered debuff on hit, reducing hit enemies' defense by 24. However, like all warhammers, only its head deals damage, which can make aiming difficult due to its size; to compensate, right-clicking will instead throw it like a boomerang, launching it up to 42 blocks but removing its ability to inflict Hammered.

Its best modifier is Legendary, Godly, or Demonic DPS-wise. The weapon's use time does not get affected by modifiers. If anything, speed should not be concerned for reforges.
