The Amphisbaena is a Hardmode enemy that spawns in the Fractal Wastes. A variant of the Rattler with two heads, it does not produce a rattling noise as a warning, and upon attacking the player or being hit, it will teleport to a random nearby point with a burst of sparks while creating several more decoy spark bursts in other locations in an attempt to conceal its movement.

Below 50% health, Amphisbaenas can be caught with a Bug Net, turning into an Amphisnek Hat.
