The Storm Diver Shotgun is a shotgun rarely dropped from Storm Divers. it fires out 5 bullets in an even spread, and it can be charged up by holding down left click, which increases the accuracy, damage, and velocity of the weapon, releasing left click will fire the weapon. At max charge it gains 15% additional damage, extra velocity, and double knockback, all on top of the increased stats . Musket balls are also converted into Luminite bullets at max charge.
Notes
- When charging 5 lines appear that show the bullet spread, which merge to one larger line when fully charged.
- The weapon has a large spread if fired without charging.
- It takes 1 second to fully charge, and has a reuse delay of 0.5 seconds, meaning a fully charged shot can be fired at least every 1.5 seconds.
- The weapons deals 377 damage per bullet at maximum charge with musket balls, so a total of 1855 damage for all 5 bullets.
- If the player dies while the weapon is being charged it will immediately fire the bullets.
- The approximate base dps values for a certain amount of charge are as followed: (Assuming all 5 bullets hit the target and with an ammo dealing 10 damage, actual dps will be lower at low charge rates)
- ~900 dps at 0 frame charge (2 shots per second, 90 base damage)
- ~997 dps at 15 frame charge (1.33 shots per second, 150 base damage)
- ~1050dps at 30 frame charge (1 shot per second, 210 base damage)
