The Stone Cannon firing stone

The Stone Cannon is a pre-hardmode ranged weapon that fires out boulders. It uses stone as ammo and fires out a small boulder each shot that explodes into several fragments on impact that deal 25% the damage of the main boulder.

Notes

• The fragments deal 10% less damage every time they pierce, but ignore 10 enemy defence.
• This is the only Stone Cannon available pre-hardmode.
• If the Thorium Mod is enabled then this weapon will use Compact Boulders as ammo due to Thorium overriding the stone ammo.

Trivia

• The idea of this weapon and its upgrades were to give a use to an excess stone you got while mining.
