Firing uncharged and charged shots with the Super Charged Rifle

The Super Charged Rifle is a hardmode gun purchased from the Arms Dealer for 20 once all 3 mech bosses have been defeated. It shoots out a single bullet each use, but can be charged to fire out a more powerful bullet that deals triple damage and double knockback. It converts musket balls into high velocity bullets if not charged, and a special variant if charged, which pierces 3 times, inflicts confused for 1-3 seconds and has no damage fall off. It can also be used to zoom by holding right click.

Notes

  • It takes 40 frames to charge the weapon, plus the 20 frame cooldown between shots, meaning a fully charged bullet can be fired every second.
  • When the weapon is fully charged a ammo crate sound plays and a small spark appears at the end of the barrel.
  • when fully charged a yellow laser sight appears out of the end of the gun, the length of the laser increases when zooming.
  • The zoom range is increased if the player has the Rifle ScopeRifle Scope equipped.
  • It also converts High velocity Bullets into the Super variant at max charge if the player is using them as ammo.

Trivia

  • The color scheme is the same as the Clockwork Assault rifle.
