The firing angles of the Snowman’s Tommy Gun

The Snowman's Tommy Gun is a special hardmode gun dropped from Snowman Gangstas, or purchased from the Arms Dealer for 15 once the Frost Legion has been defeated. It is unique in that it only has a total of 3 firing angles in each direction. It can be fired directly left and right depending on what side of the player the cursor is, and holding UP/DOWN aims the gun 45 degrees upwards/downwards. It converts all bullets to high velocity bullets and has a small bullet spread.

Notes

• This mod allows the Frost legion enemies to spawn in a snow biome during a blizzard in hardmode, allow a chance for the player to obtain this item without it needed to be Christmas.
  • Furthermore the members spawned this way also have a chance to drop a Snow Globe, allowing the player to summon the full event and have a higher chance of obtaining the item.
• The weapon has a very high damage output for its tier, but is significantly nerfed by its aiming system.
• Chlorophyte bullets are useless with this weapon, as they will just be converted to high velocity bullets.
• Holding both up and down at the same time will make the gun aim directly forwards, allows the player to shoot straight ahead while hovering.
• The gun visually has a recoil every shot.

Trivia

• This weapon is a reference to the gun wielded by the Snowman Gangsta, which can only be fired directly left or right.
