The Mysterious Cultist Hood charging up and firing

The Mysterious Cultist Hood is a hardmode magic weapon that has a small chance to be obtained from the Lunatic Cultist. Holding down the use button charges up and fires a hitscan laser after a second, draining 1 mana per tick (60 mana per second). The laser pierces infinitely but has a limited range.

Notes

• The screen shakes once the laser initially fires.
• The weapon has no initial mana cost, however once the laser fires it drains 10 mana instantly, because of this is cannot obtain any modifier that changes mana usage.
• The weapon cannot be used if the player has less than 10 mana.
• This weapon is somewhat similar to the Charged Blaster cannon, however it has a much shorter charge time and the laser can be aimed freely after firing.
• Items that reduced mana usage reduce the chance that the weapon will drain a single mana per tick.

• This weapon is a reference to the cultist laser gif that the creator of the mod made back in 2019.
