The Giant Turtle Shell is a hardmode throwable melee weapon that bounces off tiles and obeys gravity. Upon striking an enemy the player is granted the Shelled buff which grants an extra 15 defence. An unlimited amount of shells can be thrown out at once.

Notes

• This may be the most useful of the turtle weapons due to the fact you don't need to be near enemies to get the defence buff
• The shells deal 10% less damage each time they pierce.
