The Celestial Barrier is a hardmode accessory crafted from all 4 lunar fragments. Taking at least 60 / 80 / 100 damage grants the Celestial Guardian Buff that regenerates 15 health per second and grants 25 defense, with the length of time being determined by how much damage the player takes. It also provides immunity to the Distorted, Obstructed, Electrified, and Marked for Target debuffs. It also provides immunity to knockback.

Notes

• The buff is applied for 4 times the amount of frames as the damage taken, so for example taking 90 damage grants the buff for 360 frames, which is exactly 6 seconds.
• Another way to determine the length of the buff is to divide the damage by 15, so 150 damage would result in the buff being granted for 10 seconds.
• A sound effect is played when the buff is triggered.
• The accessory will not activate if the taken damage would've been greater than the player's maximum health without and defense or Damage reduction.
• This accessory will float in the air if dropped.
• While equipped a projectile resembling the accessory will slowly orbit the player, and will orbit much faster while the buff is active, but is purely for visual effect.

• This accessory can be obtained after just 3 pillars have been defeated due to the fact the 4th fragment can be crafted from the other 3.
