The Spectre Skull is a hardmode accessory crafted from Spectre Bars. When an enemy is killed it has a 1 in 6 chance to drop a Spectral Star that when picked up grants the Spectral Strength buff for 5 seconds and refills 100 mana. The buff increases magic damage up to 25% depending on the duration of the buff, up to 10 seconds. Each star picked up adds 5 seconds to the duration, capping out at 10 seconds. Bosses also have a 1 in 50 chance to drop a star with a second cooldown between drops.

Notes

• The Spectral Strength buff works the exact opposite way of mana sickness, but only half as effective.
• The Spectral Stars last for 15 seconds in the world before disappearing.
• The boss drop cooldown is shared with the Reaper's List soul drop.
• The Spectral Star will not drop from enemies summoned via statues.
• The Spectral Star pickup ranged is increased by the Celestial Magnet and its tinkers.
