ThePain is a vanity mask that can be dropped from any enemy with an extremely low drop rate (1 in 5000), and Pain Slimes with a 2% chance. It can be shimmered into Clayman and vice versa

NPC quotes

When wearing this mask, all NPCs have a chance to say one of the following lines when talked to:

• "You seem to be in a lot of pain."
• "ThePain!!"
• "How do you handle all that pain?"

Humorously this also applies to Town pets.

Notes

• When picked up it will play a generic text-to-speech voice saying "The Pain"
  • It also replaces the player's hurt sound with it when worn, and also causes the word "ThePain!" to appear above the player.

• Holding Shift with the cursor over the object turns to tooltip into "THEPAIN!!!" in pink.

Trivia

• The mask is a reference to the most popular emote in the Mod's Discord server, depicting a pink cube with a pained expression as a face.
