Asteroid Armor is a Post-Golem armor set crafted from Asteroid Bars.

It consists of the Asteroid Chestplate, Asteroid Leggings, and either the Asteroid Helmet or Asteroid Mask

With the Asteroid Helmet the set grants a flat 54 defense, a +28% buff to all damage, a +17% buff to all crit chance, and increases movement speed by 50%. The set bonus grants the Orbital Strike buff every 4 seconds, which makes the next attack summon 7 damaging asteroid boulders from the sky onto the attacked enemy. The asteroid boulders deal 120 damage each and split into 2-3 fragments dealing 50% the damage of the main asteroid damage each.

With the Asteroid Mask the set grants a flat 72 defense, a +18% buff to all damage, a +10% buff to all crit chance, immunity to knockback, 2 health per second health regeneration, and increases movement speed by 50%. The set bonus grants the Orbital Defense Buff every 6 seconds, which grants 25% damage reduction and longer immunity frames for the next attack and also summons 7 damaging asteroid boulders from the sky around the player if they take at least 2 damage while the buff is active. The asteroid boulders deal 100 damage plus double the damage the player took, and split into 2-3 smaller fragments dealing 50% the damage of the main asteroid each.

Notes

• Activating either set bonus causes the screen to shake.
• The asteroid boulders summoned from the set bonus have a small homing range, and will also pass through tiles if they are above the player.
• The asteroid boulders summoned with the Helmet travel downwards in a loose "V" like shape, where as the ones summoned from the Mask travel in a loose "/\" like shape.
• The asteroid boulders will slightly travel in the direction the enemy (helmet) or player (Mask) is moving, meaning they can hit fast moving targets more accurately.
• The smaller fragments lose 20% damage when they pierce.
• Both variants of the set will start to pulse and have small flame particles when the buff is active.
• The asteroid boulders summoned with the Helmet are affected by classless damage buffs, so they will deal a minimum of 153 damage with just the armor equipped.
• The asteroid boulders summoned from the mask have a damage cap of 500 to prevent exploits.
• The entire set glows in the dark and emits some light.
