Santank Armor is a hardmode ranged armor set crafted from Mechanical Scrap that is dropped from the Santa-NK1 event boss.

It consists of the Santank Mask, Santank Chestplate and Santank Greaves.

The set grants a flat 48 defense, a +30% buff to ranged damage, a +24% buff to ranged critical strike chance, a 25% chance not to consume ammo, and an increase of 25% to movement speed. The set bonus makes the player quickly charge up to 10 homing missiles which can be fired at once by pressing the Armor Ability Hotkey. The missiles travel upwards for half a second, initially dealing no damage, before quickly homing into any enemy on the screen.

The amount of missiles loaded can be determined by the level of the Ho-Ho-Homing Missile buff the player has:

• : 1 - 4 missiles
• : 5 - 9 missiles
• : all 10 missiles

A sound and particle effect also play each time a missile is loaded.

Notes

• The missiles will bounce off of tiles when not in their homing state.
• Each missile takes 0.5 seconds to load, meaning it takes a total of 5 seconds to load all 10.
  • There is also a 1 second cooldown after firing them until they begin to reload again.
• When all missiles are loaded the armour set will pulse.
• The Armor Special Hotkey is bound to V by default.
• The missiles deal 160 damage each, and are affected by ranged damage buffs
  • Since the armour grants a 30% ranged buff the missiles will deal a minimum of 208 damage.

Trivia

• The chestpiece makes the player visually have a missile launcher on their back, although it is non-functional unless the entire set is equipped.
