Derpling Armor is a Post-Plantera armor set crafted from Chlorophyte Bars and Derpling Shells.

It consists of the Derpling Breastplate, Derpling Greaves, and either the Derpling Mask or the Ancient Derpling Helmet.

The set provides a flat 50 defence, +25% damage and +15% critical strike buffs, and increases maximum minions by 1.

The set bonus greatly increases ascent speed, and jumping will send out a shockwave in each direction that will launch most enemies into the air, causing them to spin until they land. Holding DOWN will also increase the player's falling speed.

Notes

• The player is given the Derpling Power buff when they are able to perform the shockwave.
• The set bonus is less effective against enemies in the air than enemies on the ground.

Trivia

• The set bonus increasing jump speed is a reference to how Derplings jump.
• In earlier versions of the mod, only the mask existed and it acted just like the helmet, but it was eventually replaced with the helmet and made a summoner piece.
  • It was then later converted into a melee piece, while a new crown was created for summoner and the helmet was converted into a ranged piece.
    • However later the Helmet and Crown were removed, and the remaining 2 head pieces gave classless buffs, with one focusing on damage and the other crit chance
      • The Headgear was then converted into an ancient headpiece, having the same stats as the mask and being crafted at an altar
