Taking damage with the Frozen Heart equipped
The Frozen Heart is a hardmode accessory that has a chance to drop from Frigid Snowflakes. Taking damage makes several frost shards explode out of the player each dealing 100% of the taken damage to enemies, and inflicting Frostbite for 3 seconds. After taking damage the player is granted the Frost Spiked buff for 6 seconds that greatly increases movement speed and increases critical strike chance by 10%.

Notes
- A rather loud noise plays when the shards are created.
- There is a 6 second cooldown before the frost shards can appear again, the same length of time the buff is applied for.
- This acts as a hardmode upgrade to the Panic Necklace.
- The player must take at least 2 damage to trigger the effect.
- The damage of the shards are capped at 150 each.
