Summoning Lihzahrd Drones with a whip

Lihzahrd Chief is a hardmode whip-summoner set that is obtained from Lihzahrd Chests or crafted from Solar tablet fragments at a Lihzahrd Altar.

It consists of the Lihzahrd Chief Mask, Lihzahrd Chief Chestplate and Lihzahrd Chief Greaves.

The set grants a flat 38 defense, a +40% buff to summon damage, grants 2 additional minion slots, increased whip speed by 35%, and whip range by 40%. It also makes all whips autoswing.

The set bonus makes all whips summon a Lihzahrd Drone that orbits the tagged enemy, before closing in and exploding after 2 seconds. The drone will always target whatever enemy is tagged, and will quickly fly to another enemy if they're targetted. The drones will explode if the target dies or the tag is removed.

If any piece is placed in the player's inventory or equipped before defeating the Plantera then it will trigger the Temple Curse. Additionally equipping any piece of the armor Pre-Plantera will inflict the player with Temple Curse Burn debuff.

Notes

• The Drones deal 160 damage affected by summon buffs, meaning they will deal at least 224 damage each.
• A yellow line is drawn between the drone and the tagged enemy, giving it a yoyo like effect.
• Drones have a 30 frame cooldown between when they can be summoned, so a maximum of 2 can be summoned per second
• Parts of the armour glow in the dark.
• Pre-Plantera all pieces have an additional tooltip that says "Inflicted with a strange curse, pick up at your own risk!" indicating that picking it up will inflict the temple curse.

Trivia

• The armour has lower offensive stats than Obsidian Armour when it first received whip buffs, showing how overpowered that armour was at the time.
