The Malediction is a pre-Hardmode accessory which allows you to double tap ▼ Down in order to apply a fake pair of Skeletron's arms to a ghost minion; at the cost of 150 mana. It can increase the damage output and potential usablity of ghost minions. Swapping ghost minions constantly may make this accessory harder to use, as you would need to constantly double tap down to re-apply the arms.
It is sold by the Occultist after Skeletron has been defeated.
