The Laser Reticle is a pre-Hardmode accessory sold by the Physicist for 10. When equipped, ranged weapon projectiles shot by the player will re-orient their velocity to face towards your cursor. This can have unintentional side effects on weapons which do not shoot directly towards your cursor, like the Tsunami, making it attack more similar to the Eventide.
This effect pairs extremely well with inaccurate weapons like the Blood Rain Bow, Daedalus Stormbow, Chain Gun, Gatligator, and all Shotgun-type weapons, allowing for their projectiles to land more consistently at longer range.
Notes
- When boosted with the Crown of Blood, spread is in total reduced by 75%. Making shotguns much more accurate.
- This accessory was mentioned being inspired by the Calculator from Secrets of the Shadows, an item which makes your projectiles redirect into nearby enemies.
