The Venom Dart Trap Hat is a Hardmode helmet which can be easily crafted at the start of Hardmode. When equipped, you passively fire Venom Darts every 3.1 seconds which deal damage to enemies, and cannot harm allies. The Venom Darts fire in the direction you are facing, with no vertical movement, greatly limiting what you can hit with it.
