The Shatter Crystal is a Pre-Hardmode accessory dropped from Starite enemies. It makes attacks shoot an extra crystal which inherits the damage and knockback of your held weapon, with a 0.33 second cooldown.
The crystal breaks once it is far enough from the player, or after ~2.5 seconds.
When boosted with the Crown of Blood, the cooldown between projectile spawns will be halved to ~0.166 seconds.
Tips
- Due to the crystal breaking when too far away, it is best utilized with close range weapons.
- The Shatter Crystal can double the damage output of weapons; however due to its limitations, it struggles to achieve that in most loadouts.
