The Snotsabre is a Pre-Hardmode sword crafted solely out of Baccilite Bars. It is the Contagion variant of the Light's Bane and the Blood Butcherer, and as such can be used as a substitute for forging the Night's Edge.
Striking an enemy with the Snotsabre will inflict the Poisoned debuff for 4 seconds, and cause it to shoot out 4 Snotsabre Shots in a circular spread. The shots deal 1/3 of the damage and 1/2 of the knockback, and only inflict Poisoned for 2 seconds.
Its best modifier is Awestruck.
