The Blunderblight is a pre-Hardmode gun. The Blunderblight (along with 100 Musket Balls) always drops from the first Sepsis Cell destroyed in a Contagion world and has a 20*1/5 (20%) chance of dropping from destroyed Sepsis Cells afterward. The Blunderblight also has a 20*1/5 (20%) chance of being obtained from Contagion and Plague Crates obtained by fishing in the Contagion.

Its Corruption counterpart is the Musket and the Crimson counterpart is the Undertaker. Compared to these, the Blunderblight shoots a small spread of 3-4 bullets at the cost of a slower rate of fire and dealing much lower damage per shot.

Its best modifier is Fantastic.

Tips

• If the player wishes to acquire the Blunderblight through fishing, using a Crate Potion or Crate Elixir will increase the odds of catching a crate by 10% and 15% respectively.

Trivia

• In Exxo Avalon, the gun dropped from Sepsis Cells (known as Snot Orbs in Exxo Avalon) was the Pee Shooter, a pistol which converted Musket Balls into gravity affected projectiles.
