Baccilite Ore is a pre-Hardmode ore. It is the Contagion counterpart to The Corruption's Demonite Ore and The Crimson's Crimtane Ore, and will not appear naturally in Corruption or Crimson worlds. It can be found very rarely in small veins Underground in worlds that contain Contagion, however larger quantities can be obtained from the Bacterium Prime boss, and from the Eye of Cthulhu (only in worlds containing Contagion). Baccilite Ore emits a faint green/yellow glow when placed, similar to Demonite Ore's faint blue and Crimtane Ore's faint red glows.
The pickaxe power required to mine Baccilite Ore changes with location. When below 0ft in elevation, a Gold Pickaxe or better is needed, otherwise any pickaxe can be used.
