The Flameblaster is an upgrade to the Flamethrower. It behaves like its previous form, although with many stat differences. The fire has 15 armor penetration, inflicts the Hellfire debuff for 10 seconds, and can pierce through ~13 enemies at its base damage stat before dealing less than 0 damage. Additionally, the projectile's damage decreases by 25% for each enemy it pierces. Its right click ability fires an Air Blast which knockbacks enemies away from the player, with a 2 second cooldown before you can air blast again.

Due to its stats, it is considered a side-grade of the 1.4.4 Flamethrower since the Flamethrower's debuff lasts twice as long, its damage reduction for each pierce is 15% instead of 25%, and its projectiles are much faster.
