The Piranha Pot is a pre-Hardmode summon weapon that summons a Vile Plant minion. It attacks by growing a vile plant from the ground which shoots a fireball that inflicts Hellfire for 4 seconds.

While it deals less flat damage than its previous counterpart, it attacks much faster and is much more accurate, increasing its overall DPS. The Item and it's minion is a direct reference to the mario series by nintendo
