The Zombie Scepter is a Necromancy scepter which can convert tier 1 enemies into ghost minions. When used, it fires a blue homing bolt which travels at a fast speed.

It inflicts a debuff which applies 8 damage over time. If the enemy is in the tier 1 group, and they are killed with this debuff active, they will convert into a ghost minion.

Ghost Minion

Ghost minions converted by the Zombie Scepter will have 20 base damage, and move 25% faster than usual.

The minion will have a Cornflower Blue (#6495ed) aura. However if you are playing PVP in Multiplayer, it will change to be the same color as your current Team.

Tips

• Crafting a Zombie Scepter earlygame may be useful, while it does use a Life Crystal, it deals great damage and practically grants an extra minion.
• The Zombie Scepter is very strong in events, especially the Goblin Army, as the goblins can be converted.
• Capturing enemies before a bossfight begins, for example: Demon Eyes, Eater of Souls, or Blood Crawlers, can allow you to have ghost minions during a bossfight without needing to use the scepter during it.
• The Servant of Cthulhu can be converted, allowing for the Zombie Scepter to be used during the first phase of the Eye of Cthulhu fight.
• The Creeper in the Brain of Cthulhu fight cannot be converted, making the Zombie Scepter not usable for it.
