Osiris is a Necromancy scepter which can convert enemies into ghost minions. When used, it fires an orange homing bolt which travels at a fast speed. After it hits an enemy, it will spawn 3 locusts which inflict a stacking debuff which inflicts 4 damage over time for each stack, capped at 20 stacks (80 damage over time).
The bolt itself inflicts a debuff which applies 20 damage over time. If the enemy is killed with this debuff active, they will convert into a ghost minion.
Ghost Minion
Ghost minions converted by the Osiris will have 75 base damage, and move 125% faster than usual.
The minion will have a Pumpkin colored (#ff8014) aura. However if you are playing PVP in Multiplayer, it will change to be the same color as your current Team.

Tips
- The Osiris can last for much of Hardmode, however after defeating Plantera, Insurgency becomes available and is much stronger.
- Osiris is very strong in events, especially the Frost Legion and Pirate Invasion, as it can convert the enemies within the events.
- Capturing enemies before a bossfight begins, for example: Giant Flying Foxes, Moss Hornets, Black Recluses, Desert Spirits, Clowns or Goblin Warlocks, can allow you to have ghost minions during a bossfight without needing to use the scepter during it.
- Bouncy, Crystal, and Heavenly Slimes can be converted, allowing for the Osiris to be used during the Queen Slime fight.
- Probes can be converted, allowing for the Osiris to be used during The Destroyer fight.
- Plantera's Tentacles cannot be converted, preventing Osiris from being usable in the fight.
